Apollon Temple (TR – Turkey)

At the entrance to the Aegean resort of Didim, lies the historical ruins of the Temple of Apollo. The monument remaining is from the second version as it was rebuilt after an earthquake in 494BC, yet it was never finished completely. The temple measured 51 to 501 meters and it was the third largest structure in the Hellenic world.
